Founded in 2015 in Glasgow, Scotland, AnOrdain has no right to have had the impact on independent watchmaking that they have, and yet in recent years the brand has gone from strength to strength as one of the industry’s best dial makers. Famed for their hand-enamelled dials, all of which are created by their in-house team of artisans, AnOrdain has become one of the hottest micro-brand names in all of horology. Offered here we have the AnOrdain Model 3 Method with a vibrant aqua blue dial. Featuring AnOrdain’s third watch design, the Model 3 measures in at 39mm in diameter and is made of stainless steel and powered by the Sellita cal. SW300 movement. THE DIAL
Boasting a rich aqua blue dial with a rippled texture that is hand-carved onto a block of ash before being 3D scanned and turned into a 3D model for the dial's base, the Model 3 Method showcases the depths AnOrdain will go to to create a beautiful display.
THE CONSTRUCTION
Created with the specific intention of showcasing as much of the dial as possible, the Model 3's 39mm case features a thin bezel and hollow lugs to ensure none of the watch's construction draws attention away from the dial at its centre.
